I totally forgot to mention the Yankees / Giant game was ready to start but missing one somewhat critical element.... umpires or even a single ump. Apparently there was a mixup and despite recent shoulder surgery Jimmy K offered to ump the game. Outside of doubling as a base coach he did a great job and allowed us to play the game. Around the 3rd inning John Kalinski showed up and took over - he literally changed plans immediately and headed to New Scotland.
