Twins---Peppers game was suspended last night in the top of the 6th due to lightening. Peppers were up with one man on and no outs. Twins were leading 12-5. Game will be finished on Wednesday starting at 5:15 pm at New Scotland with the winner immediately playing the winner of the Americans---Pirates game which was also suspended in the 6th with the Americans leading 18-11.
Herb, I think this can only happen in an "alternate universe". I hope the CDMSBL gods can figure this out for our 4 teams!

On a serious note the Voorheesville High School field was in good shape a couple of weeks ago when we played on it and the 45 Black Sox use it regularly so I would imagine one of the games will be there.
John......Problem might be completing the second game in time. Both suspended games have 2 innings to go, plus add about 5-10 minute drive from VHS to Swift Park, the second game will be starting late. Another issue some of us have is that we need to leave work much earlier to get to Voorheesville. For a 5:15pm start, I personally need to ask to leave work by 4:15pm the latest, normally I work till 5:15pm-5:30pm.
Can we just play/finish the suspended games and play the next round the next day or scheduled round play. I can see the second game being suspended and forcing an early start the next day or so, forcing some to again leave work early. As a consultant, no work = no pay (I used my accrued paid PTO for my vacation last week). Please think about the inconvenience the early start time of 5:15pm has on some.
