Mike G did his usual fine job recapping Cubs games (whether they win or lose) with his report below of the Damn Yankees victory last night, but he was remiss in not noting a highlight of the evening: Kevin Jackson's post-game hot dogs. KJ quickly fired up a kettle of dogs and after a hard-fought battle, players for both teams enjoyed some post-game banter, a cold brew and a two or three-dog-night. The only thing missing was Tommy Smith's onions. Thanks to Kevin for being the ultimate sportsman, and for carrying on a longtime American tradition: baseball and ballpark franks.
