Well the Cinderella run ended today for the Albany yankees. We ran into the 7 seed dragons, they played the early game and the pitcher who threw a DH yesterday the first game today and 9 innings of our game ( HE SWAM THE ENGLISH CHANNEL 3x in 12 hours in 53 degree water. AMAZING !! Yankees couldnt put it together we took the lead late but gave it right back some pitching mistakes some running mistakes and some fielding errors made the difference today. All in all disappointing but we played baseball in 88 degree weather felt like 100 , 63 innings in 5 days got to love it ! It wasnt for a lack of trying.

Good job by all the 45's. It may sting a bit now,but you are in Florida playing baseball,and this time of year it doesn't get any better than that.Enjoy an off day at the beach.
Great job guys! I know that this will sting for a while (we have been there). You all did Albany proud! We are not disappointed in your efforts, that is for sure! If you don't have other plans, come root on the Cubs in the 55+ Championship game today at 1:00 pm at The Ball Park at the Palm Beaches. We will need all of the support that we can get. This Puerto Rico team was showing up to the round robin games with 14 player, but showed up to the playoffs yesterday with 26 players. They are loud and have a ton of energy. Our fans are great, but they are small in numbers. Any extra fans we can pick up will be appreciated.
