Today was the grueling double header day. With having to play the Ct top hats who were 3-0 first game Yankees were on the road and didnt take long for the bats to start rolling. With some solid starting pitching from Earl our Dallas teammate pitched some solid innnings to get us thru to mid game tiring a little and game getting closer Yankees up 12-7 , we closed the game for one inning umpire advised was the last inning due to the time limit so we ended the game shook hands and a player from the other team said they had 2 minutes before the time allowance expired so they ran back out on the field we played ONE more inning , shut down next 3 hitters to win the game.
Game 2 against the Fury 3-0 ( Long Island warriors won it 2 years ago ) got off to a quick start putting 3 runs on the board quick Yankees respond to tie the game up 3-3 is when the drama happens. Jim hicks dealing keeping batters off balance Tempers flaring a bit , little jawing back and forth yankees get the bases loaded. Jj Janetsky who hit a Hr inside the Parker in an earlier game. Hits a deep BOMB over left field fence GRAND SLAM took the drive out of the fury yankees score 7 runs in the inning. yankees take the win 14-5 entering into fri final round robin game 4-0. Everyone contributed offensively and a great played defensive game .
