The 55 Twins broke a 4-4 tie with a run in the top of the 7th to defeat the Dodgers 5-4 at Legion Field. Mark Dinicola pitched a gutsy game for the Dodgers. Stefan Koutsakis pitched the first 5 for the Twins allowing 2 earned runs. Wayne Nicholsen pitched the final 2 for the Twins striking out 2 and allowing no runs or hits. Nicholsen picked up the win. Rick Saidenberg led the Twins offense with 2 doubles and 3 runs scored.

Steve Schaefer hit a clutch double in the 5th knocking in 2 runs for the Dodgers.
