Jimmy K and Ron Massaroni both pitched complete games in the doubleheader for the Marlins, but those Bombers just plain hit the snot out of the ball, and constantly test the defense. And Lex not only hit everything on the screws all day, but he baffled us on the mound in the second game. I recall facing him when he was with the Yankees in a semifinals series a few years back after we had won Game 1 on a Saturday, and he came back on Sunday and pitched -- and won -- both games 2 & 3. The guy's a warrior, and the heart and soul of the defending champ Bombers.
