the 45+ Yankees /Marlins game at Bob Moore at 12:30 is on. ....hold that thought till 10:40 ,showers just went thru Scotia and Bones is checking the field.

In a well played Pitchers duel with Ed Bitner tossing a complete game 4 hit shut out, th Yankees Outlasted the Marlins 3-0 . Ron Massorini threw a complete game 5 hitter, but in the 6th mark Marshall got a key bunt single stole second, And Eddie Alverez singled , stole second and with 1 out Tony Parella struck out but the ball wasnt fielded so Tony broke for 1st and on the second throw Mark broke home and scored on the errant throw to home and Eddie scored from second On the same play to jump out 2-0 and Ed did the rest. Great game where neither pitcher deserved to lose.
Thnx to Bones, Dan Hernandez, Mark Marshall and anyone else who helped get the field ready for play. It was a bit of a mess, but their diligence paid off. Nice work. jk
