Reggie Flansburg went 4-4 with 3 RBI to lead a 14-hit attack as the Whiz Kids defeated the Peppers 11-1 Monday night. Mike Kane (2-0) went 6 innings for the win, and helped his cause by going 2-4 with 2 RBI. Flansburg and Brian Musella scored 3 runs each, while John Cortese and Greg Mangione had 2 hits apiece. The Peppers scored their run in the 5th on consecutive singles by Becker, Meandro, and Japour. Good luck to Mike Hart and the Peppers the rest of the way.
