The annual league meeting of the CDMSBL took place on Monday, December 11, 2017. Just a few points from the meeting that everyone should be interested in. The Treasurer's Report from the 2017 season was presented and explained and distributed by League President John Reel. Each Division is broken down into revenue and expenditures. The main point to be noted is that all of the Divisions operated in the red last year which was expected due to large balances in the Divisions from previous seasons. These balances needed to be reduced due to the leagues "Not For Profit" status. The deficits were made up through the Board Designated Fund which will have to be replaced this season. The bottom line is that this will result in slightly higher team fees for the 2018 season. Any questions regarding this can be better explained through the League Commissioners. The BOD election was held and being there were only 10 candidates for ten positions they were elected unanimously by proclamation. The 2018 Board of Directors are as follows, Chris Abrams, Don Ball, Jon Corrigan, Lex Herrlett, John Kalinski, Bob Noto, John Reel, Jim Porter, Tom Smith and Don Wixon.
