50+ Albany Capitals, FL Day 2

A much better effort today, but we fell 5-3 to a talented Sacramento Royals team. Our lefty Jimmies (Tesoriero and Preller) kept us in the game from the mound. We were down 5 in the 7th when we broke through for our first runs of the tourney, making it a 5-3 contest. But thats where it stayed. Several guys had hits, with Donny Ball leading the way with a pair. Ball and Tesoriero each hit doubles.

Two days in, we are one of four teams at 0-2. We currently have the lowest runs allowed of those four, and we still play two of them. But next up is one of the four 2-0 teams, the DC Mustang As, which includes CDMSBL traitors...er, um, colleagues...Careccia, Dunn, Parella, and Bonaparte. We square off Tuesday morning at the NY Yankees complex in Tampa, a new site this year for MSBL.

I guess I should have read Mikes report. Well, you get two versions of the same thing.
