We woke up this morning most guys at 5am staring at the ceiling, WAITING for 930am . We squared off against a feisty Delaware team who played most their games tough this week. Dave Smitherman started the game and got us to the 6th inning, up 7-0 Ryan Johnson stole a base and some of the other teams guys got put off by it. I said to my guys who cares its not enough we need more runs. They know the deal they would do the same to us. But mentally we took our foot off the pedal and let them back into the game. We pulled together and pulled out the win.

GAME 2 against the twins, well the only thing missing was the tent and elephants because the circus was in town. All of a sudden we forgot how to play baseball. let them get too far ahead and scored more than a few unearned runs. We battled to the end BUT wasnt meant to be. Lost 11-3
I AM SO PROUD of all our guys. 63 innings of baseball in 5 Days. Is a toll on anyone. Non the less a bunch of old guys trying to be minor leaguers for a week.
So now I have time to relax on the beach with family and teammmates. Enjoy the last few hours before the flight back to the Antarctic.

Now time to breathe and before I am done writing this post start retooling for next year

Found out the Giants are in the semis beating delvall bombers 9-0 we beat the Giants 20-6! We know we could have been playing today and makes everyone more driven to come back next year and finish the job!! Will make the necessary additions
