This Saturday there will be many baseball players with fear in their eyes when the Albany Capitals 50+ team start arriving in Clearwater, Florida for their second year. Last year the team only made it to the first round of the playoffs....but this year the team is healthier, has more experience, some new pitching and some new infielders. Our team has the bats of Pat Alston, Tim Burns, Tim Borwick, and Don Ball. We've got the pitching arms of John Weber, Jim Tesoriero, Curt Tucker and Jim Preller. We've got the speed of Bobby Yakatan, John Cortese, and Mike Kocienski. We've got the plate covered with Mike Cleary and myself Mike Surin. We have our Colorado MSBL teammates that have helped us over the last few years Mike White and newcomer Mark Sullivan. I can guarantee that our Capital District league will be represented with the respect it deserves. This years trip also has an added goal to increase the amount of fish we catch on our deep sea fishing trip after our Tuesday game. Don Ball can tell you how big the fish he lost on his line.....its gets bigger every time he tells it. Mike
