I got thinking of the recap post I sent yesterday and realized when I mentioned all-around players and mentioned Mike Girard, I was speaking to his abilities since he's been in the league, but more with respect to the 55s this year since that's the division we are competing in.
My goodness, Steve Lounello of the 45 Giants is right there with Mike as well. I wanted to clarify that I was speaking of the 55 Division in my opinion of Darrell.
And Tom Maney, back in the day when he was healthy, you know, before the first of his 500 surgeries, he too was among the best all-around. Not a position he didn't play and an elite hitter/base stealer.
There are a few others, too, like Randy Craft, but they are few and far between ... That's why these guys are in the HOF. That's where Darrell belongs, though knowing him, he doesn't like those kinds of accolades.
At least for me, I just needed to more clearly express my sentiments.
