Way to go Ted! You are not only a Hall of Fame player, but also a Hall of Fame person, just like your best friend Tom Maney! I feel very lucky to have shared the field with both of you. This is a very happy day for all who know you!

That is such awesome news. Ted is a legend in the MSBL on all coasts. I've had the pleasure of playing alongside him in the CDMSBL Labor Day, Fall Classic in Florida and World Series in Arizona last year with his champion Inland Angels. He is a great teammate, and such a fun guy to play for. He always puts together a competitive team, and doesn't sweat the small stuff. To get to room with Ted and T-Maney and live baseball for a week last fall was an experience I'll always treasure. The Hall of Fame accolades for both of these Albany ''boys of summer'' are well-deserved.
Two kids who grew up playing ball together at Cook Park and became the closest of friends now both in a NATIONAL HALL OF FAME!!!! WOW! Per Yogi, "Who'da thunk it''
Thanks for your congrats for the HOF induction. It means everything to me to make sure everyone knows I am an Albany alumni from CDMSBL!! The induction may not be deserved on many levels be it stats or rings or years played whatever the criteria may or not be but I accepted it specifically to represent everyone I have played with and had the honor of stepping on the field with. I have been blessed to play in CDMSBL for many years. It was without a doubt the best baseball I have played. No other league and I have played in many that compares to CDMSBL. Its the best MSBL out there. Trust me the little issues that every league has pales in comparison to the camaraderie and the ballmanship that CDMSBL affords to each player in the league...Its a great place to play weather notwithstanding. Again to everyone I have had the honor of playing with shares this award. I only accepted like I told Steve on behalf of those i think should be in the hall and all those who have given me the memories I have playing the greatest game there is for over 55 years now.. I may have legs like Lt Dang in Forrest Gump but I will play even if i have a body like Monty Python but I still play the best i can everytime we step on the field....we are fortunate to have this opportunity to play especially at my age which is over 120 in dog years for sure lol
Well deserved Teddy! Proud to have been your teammate for as many years as we were. taking the field with you was always a pleasure.
All my best,
Crafty
