Sunday's supposed to be a great day to be out and about, and Tuesday is supposed to be mainly fair.
But Monday, when the 55+ division has its four, first-round, playoff games scheduled, is, as of this posting, slated to be nearly an all-day rain.
It figures. Rain has trailed us this season like the cloud over Joe Btfsplk's head.*
So, if the forecast is right, will Tuesday, the mainly fair Tuesday, be the opening day of playoffs?
An extra day of rest will likely be welcome to teams that played on Thursday and Friday.
Imagine? A "welcome rain"? After dozens of make-ups, sure.

[*Joe Btfsplk? Those of you who were born after 1979, when cartoonist Al Capp died, missed one of the great cartoon characters of all time. Joe was a well-meaning but hapless fellow forever having nothing but bad luck, which was symbolized by the dark rain cloud that forever hung over his head. People ran when they saw him coming. Someone once asked Capp how you pronounced the vowelless name "Btfsplk." Capp said do a "raspberry" or a Bronx cheer, that's how. For those of you who don't know even that [Lord, I have to teach you everything!] you just put your tongue outside your lips and blow. -M.]
