The 45 marlins , behind the bat of Andy Hoyle, staged an improbable comeback Sunday in defeating the black sox 10 - 9 in 8 innings. The Sox,behind the arm and bat of Darryl Duncan had raced to a 9-2 lead thru 5 innings. When Darryl exited the mound, the Marlins staged their comeback with a seven run 6th, highlighted by a laser shot 3 run homer from Hoyle. After a scoreless 7th, and with light waning, Hoyle led off the bottom of the 8th and launched a tremendous moon shot deep over the left field fence. The walk off made a winner of Ronnie Massaroni, who was tremendous in relief. Outstanding win for the Marlins, who raise their record to 7-3. It ialso made for a much more enjoyable cooler session!
