The 55 Twins defeated the Peppers 5-3 at Satellite Field Thursday evening. On one of the few recent beautiful weather nights the Twins scored 5 runs in the fifth inning with Tom King getting a big 2 RBI single to put his team out in front to stay. Dave Edelman, making his first appearance in 2years, went 2 for 2 with a double for the Twins. John Newman got the win pitching all 7 innings allowing 7 hits , 1walk, and 2 earned runs. Masseroni for the Peppers had 2 solid hits and also pitched well. It was a tightly played game with just 1 error by each team.
