MLB historian, ex-Yankees PR director, talks Thursday night

If anyone is free tonight (Thursday, 5/4), former NY Yankees PR Director Marty Appel is speaking at the Guilderland Library at 7 p.m.

Marty, a friend of mine, has authored 19 books on baseball including "Pinstripe Empire," Thurman Munson's biography. He also collaborated with Tom Seaver
on his book "Great Moments in Baseball".

Marty is a great baseball historian and one of the best story tellers I have ever known. It should be a fun evening. And it's free. A reception at
7 pm precedes Marty's talk.

The Guilderland Public Library is on Western Ave. (Route 20), about a mile west of the Price Chopper Plaza at Routes 20 and 155.
