This year, MSBL decided not to schedule any preliminary round double headers in age divisions 50+ and higher. So our game today against the Puerto Rico Royals was our fifth in five days. The undefeated PR boys proved too much for us, but we still squeaked into the Fall Classic 50+ playoffs, where double headers become a necessity. We have a Friday morning wildcard game against the Naperville Yankees. If we get by them, we'd have an afternoon follow-up against the #1 seed Sacramento Royals. Could be a long day. We wouldn't have it any other way.
