The Albany Ny Yankees arrived at the blue jays minor league complex and walking in you felt like a ball player. Squaring off against one of the top teams in the division the Atlanta Giants , Ny took a 1-0 lead into the 6 inning, which is where the Atlanta team scored their first run unearned. lex Herrlett went the distance 9 innings as well as the Atlanta starter. Yankees had men on base almost every inning , 1st and second , 2nd and 3rd but couldn't get the big hit to seal the deal. bottom 8th where the Atlanta team scored their second unearned run. Yankees lose 2-1. On a great note we showed we can compete with the teams who lost the the team who won the division last year . Everyone stayed healthy and we got the first game gitters out of the way
I am proud of the guys and we haven't even started to hit yet and we had 10 or so hits today.
