I'm in need of four more players for this Saturday, October 1 at 3:00 p.m. I have set up a series against a team from the Berkshire Baseball League and I'd like to get a good representation. Believe it or not, I think I have enough pitching as four of the players already signed up to play can pitch. But I do need a second catcher, another infielder and a couple of extra outfielders.
It should be a nine inning game so everyone should get significant playing time and if I get to 12 players everyone will hit in the lineup except me. Translation: You will get at least three at-bats guaranteed.
I am trying to ensure that the players who are going to Florida and/or Arizona later this fall more playing time at the positions they need to play to get prepared to play in the tournament so if you're going to Florida and/or Arizona I can offer you some warmup time for your tournaments.
Now, the Berkshire boys are playing to win these games so we need the best this league has to offer and we need those players to bring their "A" game. I want to win all three if possible - but it all starts this Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Chatham Little League Complex. Cost is $15 per player per game. Attendance is already up a bit higher for 10/8 and 10/15.
ONLY ONE ROSTER RESTRICTION: You must be at least 30 years old to play.
