After finishing their best season ever - going 6-2 in their final 8 games, the Bears were ousted from the playoffs with a 4-1 loss to the Mets. Not much to say about bad play on the Bears part because the game was very well played and the Mets earned every run they got and the pitching of Josh Mickalonis shut down the Bears' offense. Hats off to an exceptionally good Mets team tonight. They deserved to win because we gave them the best we had and they were the better team.

The good news for the Bears is that the guys are all hungry to get back on the field and play together again next year. The Bears will return in 2017 and hopefully with just a couple more additions will be even better.

Good luck to Dan Tarullo and the Mets the rest of the way - you were much better than your record suggests. The Indians best not sleep on that team!
