The Indians kicked off the holiday weekend last night with hard fought 8-0 victory last night at shuttleworth behind 5 strong innings from Jami Burnetter who allowed 2 hits and had 6K and also was 2/3 at the plate with a walk to help his cause. Rookie Adam Anderson made his 33 debut a good one throwing 2 scoreless with 4 K to close it out. For the Mets Dan longo went 5 battling hard only giving up 3 through the 1st 4 until we played 3 in the 5th. Bosco closed for the Mets allowing the other 2. On Offense B J stayed hot going 2-4 double and a RBI plus a run scored Will Horan 2-3 2 doubles and 2 RBI, Q 2-4 double and single and Fernando Robleno 2-4 with a long triple. Overall a real good game and I'm sure the Mets will be fired up for the rematch. Good luck the rest of the way.
