On a lovely cold ass night at shuttleworth Monday night the Indians came out on top of the Yankees 9-6 as Leo Primeau fought through 6 tough innings for the win and BJ Roberts threw a scoreless 7th for the save with 2 K. It was a good pitching game through the first 5 innings as Dale smith went 5 strong leaving in a 4-4 tie after 5. Lex took the loss for the Yankees. BJ led the offense in his typical fashion drawing 2 BB and a SB scoring 2 runs and also hit a long double off the left field wall. Will Horan a long double and 2RbI Q 2 RBI and Rookie Mike Ruffinen 2 singles. Some old ass coach hit a double to start the 5 run rally leading off the 6th followed by singles from Dave (too Hot ) Coffey and Jame (big game ) Derby who also drew a BB. This is going to be a fun season as all the teams are much improved and games are coming down to the wire top to bottom. For the Yankees Lex a key 2 out 2Rbi hit and Paul Post the same. Good luck to the Yankees and look forward to the rubber game with them.
