Ok Boys.............it's approaching the middle of December and no word on whether the 45 division is changing to 43 with 6 waivers or 42 with 3.5 waivers or 40 but you can't have more than 3 left-handed hitters on the first and third Sunday of every month waivers...........
Soooooooo, I'm guessing it's status quo for 2016? I'm HOPING last minute changes to the division (say, May or June) won't happen. Help a brother out...............what's up?

Why would the 45 division be changing? Why would there be any talk of waivers when there are more than enough people of age to fill the teams?
I'm guessing the meeting on the 14th will answer these and other questions.
Merry Christmas..!!

There has been some discussion of changing the age groups. At the last meeting (all commissioners were asked to inform all GM's of the meeting and to pass it on to their players) there was a lengthy discussion of the topic and many of the ramifications of the change. Some of the issues were additional fields, an additional commissioner, impact on the existing teams / players. There were a handful of GM's present but there was no clear consensus in either direction.
A new board will be elected on the 14th and this will fall to them.
Just a heads up in case you weren't aware, the 45 don't have enough players to fill the existing teams , 2 teams almost forfeited in the playoffs. One team did forfeit 1 game and the other barely had 9 and the one guy couldn't play but had to show up for a pitch and the team played the whole game with 8. They need help
Just make sure that when I turn 45 in 3 years, the 45+ division stays 45+ with NO WAIVERS. I figure by then, my surgically repaired wing might be rehabbed and healed up for one final comeback. I'm not putting 16 years between taking the hill again...

We are now into December and the league still has not come to a decision about division age. Meantime all of us players in the 55 division that have gained our release and are free agents are told we can't make a move untill the league figures this out. So now the board is going to turn this issue over to the new board. I am a little confused of why this is taking so long. The season ended in September.
As a free agent I would like to know when I can go to a team. Maybe by March we will all know.
How do you spell CONTRACTION...!! If THREE teams only have 26 to 27 players between them.. sounds like Two teams have 13-14 man rosters..!! Brilliant...! Now I will work on World Peace...
