On Monday morning, the Avengers Bill Kervan went to the mound for his scheduled start and held the Boston Braves to one unearned run with three Ks over three innings. The Avengers struck early for 5 runs in the 1st and continued scoring throughout with the final being a 17-2 shortened game. Brad Buchan played 1B thru the game being on the front end of a couple inning saving double plays while going 1/3 at the plate.

Avengers go at 10am Tuesday against the Terre Haute Volkers Group at the Lee County facility where the Twins train.

Clifton Park Softball Leagues own Joe Romeo is playing well for the Midwest Nine in the Hobbs 60s division. Joe is a fleet-footed hard hitting outfielder and could be a candidate for our own CDMSBL back in Albany ?????
