The Avengers, with Brad Buchan and Bill Kervan in the lineup, opened the 4th week of the 2015 Roy Hobbs World Series with a 10-0 win over the National Spirit in Ft Myers on Sunday morning. Avengers opened the scoring in the bottom of the 3rd with an RBI single by Buchan. In the bottom of the 5th, Kervans sacrifice began a 5 run Avengers rally. Buchan came on in relief in the top of the 5th pitching two scoreless innings giving way to the Avengers closer to complete the game. Playing first base while not pitching, Buchan went 2/2 at the plate.

The Avengers meet the Boston Braves on Monday morning at 10am with Kervan set to take the mound in his first start of the tournament.
