I have been following the bowel movement of thought on division age realignment with my head shaking, along with my quivers. This is another tempest in a teapot situation. We had the same challenges in the kickball league, and solved the issues without name calling,or insinuating that folks are cheaters, etc. What we did was called the wives,or mommy, of all the folks complaining, and made sure they got a hug before they slipped into their footy jam-jams and went nighty night. Then, when they got to the next game, all the players lined up and gave them a biiiiig hug, just to let them know we still valued them as people. We then made sure to let them know that we would like to continue our relationship, but if things are that bad, they could start their own kickball league if they desired........?.By the way,we have a draft every two years. All players are then slotted into their appropriate age groups.GM's then draft from there, first exhausting all players in their age group. If need be from that point forward, they were allowed to draft two players from the older age divisions with their next picks, until their rosters are filled out. This allowed older folks to play more competitive ball if desired, and also the chance to play with some buddies. We tweeked it as we went along, and mostly everyone's satisfied. Have not heard back yet from the fellas who decided to start their own league.
