More information on the Fall Classic Tournament, especially for those of you that might be interested but this may be new territory.
TIME: The week of November 8th (we play baseball all week....all day...sometimes at night too!) VENUE: The professional spring training fields of the MLB! (a stadium game has been promised if we get our fees in early) GAMES: 5 nine inning games and then playoffs once we qualify against other teams from MSBL leagues across the country. (WE CAN DO IT!) TEAM: The ALBANY CAPITALS... new name and Mr Reel has approved us to use the ALBANY league uniforms (my goal is to only use 15 players from our capital district league) PRICE: $187....(you might spend $10 on motrin)
I will be contacting the players that played on the teams that went last year, will make contact with those of you I met this week to answer more questions and continue to recruit a few more guys the next 2 weeks.
I will be making the hotel reservations, van rentals, and solidifying our uniforms this week also.
