The 45 Royals had a good day in a good game with the Braves in Chatham on Sunday. Jon Atwell and Eddie Class combined on the mound for the Royals W with old friends Mark Denicola and Greg Gougler on the hill for the Braves.
Royals highlights were homers by Eddie Class, Gene Hallenbeck, Mal Hinman and Andy Hulbert with Alex Marin 2-1Bs, Marc Fiacco a 1B, Hallenbeck a 1B & 2B with his HR, Class a 1B with his HR, Rick Koster 2-1Bs, Mal Hinman 2-1Bs with his HR, Johnny Corrigan 2-1Bs, Erik Samarija a 1B, Steve Vangelder 3-1Bs and Brad Buchan a 1B contributing.
Braves hit well with Marc Tranchillo 2-1Bs, Ray Coletta a 1B, Greg Gougler 2-1Bs, Jimmy Bonaparte 2-1Bs, Steve Schaefer 2-2Bs, Dan McGuire a 1B and Tim Vickerson 2-1Bs.
All agree - more games in Chatham.....

The field in Chatham is great, and I'd also like to thank Don McComb for getting the field and the preparation after all of the rain Saturday night.
But from the Braves perspective, we would love to play more games on the Chatham field...........that is if you moved the field to Schenectady or Clifton Park!
