The Braves beat the Bombers on Sunday at New Scotland 13-7 behind another good outing by Greg Witalec and a potent offensive attack led by Ray Coletta. The Bombers scored 4 in the first inning with just one hit, 4 walks and an error. The Braves came back with 5 in the third to take the lead, capped by a 2 run shot by Coletta. The Braves added one more in the 4th before the Bombers came back with 3 in the bottom of the 4th to retake the lead 7-6. The Braves got the lead back in the 5th scoring 2 more. Witalec shut the Bombers down for the final three innings as the Braves broke it open in the 6th scoring 5 more on 5 hits including consecutive triples by Coletta and Gougler.
