The Chatham Brewers (formerly Pirates) held off a 7th inning surge by the Golden Marlins to hang on for the 11-8 win. Newly acquired lefty Roy Anderson got the win, striking out two and letting 3 earned runs cross the plate in 4 innings. The game was tied going into the 6th, as the Brewers turned 5 hits into 6 runs. Jerry Soloman left the hill after 6. Madsen, Kline & Allen added doubles for the Brewers. Kinnicut added a double and single for two 2 RBI's. Brown had two doubles and single for the Marlins. Duncan added a double. No observable injuries and one weird infield fly incident. Good Luck and have fun all.
