As we get started today and before the balls start flying in the 45 division, let us all take a moment to reflect on the passing of Mikey Bintz and give thanks for having the health to play the game we all love... We will probably take a minute before the game against his former team, the Black Sox, to offer kind remembrance's before being a little less kind to his old cohorts once the first pitch is thrown...

It is surely a stark reminder that even the best of us start to go down at much more significant rates in the "older" divisions than in the younger ones ~ and so I just want to wish everyone a healthy year above all things as seeing the difference the younger division has made going to 30 makes it much more clear every day...

Enjoy it while you've got it > savor it, breathe it in, and then let it go...
