Hey guys, Quentin has asked me to help him with his fundraising for the green tech charter school for their baseball program . We all know Q and the great things he does for the kids and this is a good cause as last year he started the program from scratch and they receive no funding from the district. He plans on starting a JV program this year as well as the varsity and Any donations would be greatly appreciated!! Let's show our support for the kids as they one day could be proud members of our league as well. Jim Bonaparte From Q: Last year the CDMSBL members graciously supported Green Tech Baseball with cash and some equipment . For the 1st time the school fielded and competed in Varsity baseball with a eager and talented team which I recruited and coached. As you can Imagine it's great to see kids enjoy the game we love. While other schools are totally supported Green Tech is not, and the families in this school do not have the resources to help as well. So with out the help of others they would not be able to experience baseball and the life lessons associated with it. As you all know the Varsity team was fielded threw a tryout and I had to turn down many potential athletes who wanted to play baseball but could not as I couldn't keep more than 16. This year I want to continue that effort and field a JV squad do others who want to play won't have to be turned away. I need your help once again. We need cash but could also use any equipment whether new or used that you'd like to donate.
