Can you believe that guy

A yankee game will never be the same in our lifetime. Thanks for the memories #2.

If guys are going to point to stats and say he wasn't a great player than they just don't know baseball.

The MVP of last night's game was David Robertson for setting up the whole bottom of the 9th - Hands down MVP!

C'moooooon man. Yankees up three and DR pukes? I'm not entirely religious but "Holy cow White", that just ain't supposed to happen!

Yankees leadoff guy miraculously singles ..........girardi puts in freakin Carl Lewis to pinch run, Gardner lays down perfecto bunt..........and Jeter doesn't blink an eye, one pitch.........whack............solid single scores the winner.

There wasnt even supposed to be a game last night (100% chance of rain). .........dude misses going to Tatertown by two feet, later on puts the ball in play with runners on (scoring 2 runs), then it just so happens, the bottom of the 8th inning guys go down in an order that makes Jeter the 3rd hitter in the bottom of the 9th, Robertson does his thing, the first two Yankee hitters do their thing and freakin #2 does his thing............its amazing that 10 Victoria's Secret models didn't come out onto the field and hand the guy their phone numbers, this week's $225m winning Powerball numbers and a note from The Almighty that read, "Your kids are going to be even better than you".

Not ashamed to admit, the whole thing "got me". Got me last night and honestly, I woke up sad............#1 Elvis just left the building and he ain't coming back and B) I gotta watch that freakin toad stool Alex Rodriguez for the next 2-3 years. I'm glad Jeter don't be on the same field with that guy. Tough to watch!

A great 20 years!

Right on - with everything Stevie Lou. Good things happen to good people. Got to me, too. Even the Boston faithful today couldn't stop the "Derek Jeter'' chant.
