And now...

My good buddy Lexter and his super cool Yankees team have joined my guys, Bones' Indians, and Mickey's Dodgers in the final four after a game three showdown that turned into a thrashing pretty quickly.
My brother Lothar is a little more humble than some and so since I was present thought I'd do a little report.

As a Game 3 showdown should, it started out a little intense with the Yanks stranding the sacks full in the top of the first and the Padres plating on after a Miller single, steal, bad throw, and sac fly.
And then it was ALL Yankees and my brother doing his thing after that...
Yanks scored 4 in top of the second and never loooked back on way to an 11-4 rout as it all came crashing down on the Padres from that point on...

The Lexter went 5 for 5 and pitched stellar 6 2/3 innings before giving way to Josh "I got a tough detail" Kelley to close it out after a sharp grounder hit his pitching hand...
All 5 hits were solid too and he walked none from the hill, so that's about all you could ask for in a pressure situation as I'm not sure how much more one guy could do...

But as it's obviously a team game and we've all seen plenty of times one stud does his thing only to have his team lose or even get pounded, gotta give credit to my good friend JJ "Joplin" Janetsky and his bases loaded double, Paulie "Pull-Up-Them-Pants" Post getting 3 line drive hits and at least 3 RBI's that I remember.
Mike Suchi also had a bases loaded single on a sharp liner and my other good friend Tony "Pretty Boy" Parella did his normal good job at first and got a couple walks...
Matt "Cool Breeze" Casso made the play of the game with an over-the-shoulder catch in RF as he crashed into one of the signs on the fence at beautiful Blatnick field...
Tom "I'm The Nicest Guy In the League" Bradley caught another stellar game behind home plate as usual and Ed "Flushing" Powell had a nice single to help get the rally in the 2nd inning going...
Plus Richie "Rich" Robertson and Tito "My-Last-name-Is-Not-Fuentes" Lopez were present and participatory...

As it was a nice display of the most important part of all >>>
The chemistry that is necessary to have a run like they've put together as there was total support and camaraderie as they all laughed and joked and a good time was had by all... Nobody disgruntled and unhappy as everyone understands their role in the process and it sure is gonna be fun to see who wins the Yanks~Indians series as them damn Yankees are smoking hot. After starting out 1-8 they've managed to rip off 12 of 14 and even snuck by my guys once in the process...
Tall order up next though as everyone knows the Indians are the quintessential "team to beat" in the 30+
But it can be done...
And who better to do it then the New York Yankees as sheesh, it doesn't seem right to have the Indians winning in NY, kinda weird...

I'm just wondering if my brother will be ready to pitch on Monday???
