The Braves came back from a 5-0 first inning deficit to defeat the Yankees Sunday afternoon at New Scotland by a final score of 16-6. Mark Denicola buckled down after a shaky first inning and only allowed one unearned run the rest of the way, going the distance for the win.
We must have blown our wad in game one because we had nothing left for the Marlins in game 2. I'll just say they thoroughly kicked our asses. Jerry Solomon pitched a great game for the Marlins.
