After a two day delay, the Damn Yankees broke out a potent offense and employed a steady, no-error defense to advance past the very good Americans 16-3 on Wednesday night.
Many hitters to highlight, but the leaders were Tim Brown (3-3, 2B, BB, 3 Runs, 3 RBI, 2 SB), Joe "Who Needs a Left Ankle" Hervieux (3-4, 1 Run, 1 RBI), Marc Tryon (3-4, 2B, 1 Run , 3 RBI). John Weber pitched a very controlled and workman like game scattering 8 hits in the 5 inning game. There are a lot more to list, but don't want to build too many big heads.
The Americans were led by Jim Wing (2-3, 3B) and Greg Smith (2-3, 2B). Jim Kisselburgh worked hard and pitched a complete game.
Next up for the DY's - the Giants on Thursday night at Satellite.

Yanks were firing on all cylinders just like the Damn Yankees that I know. Always a good bunch of guys (and scorekeeper) to play against - good to get together.
Good luck Ray and the Yanks to wrapping up the playoffs again this year.
