Scott Bonanno put a lot of elbow grease into the mound at the Satellite field recently. The area in front of the pitchers plate has 3 new clay bricks and has been filled in around with mound clay. It's perfect right now. Again, PLEASE do not use you cletes as a mining tool and dig a hole. There is no need to dig it out.
Scott also rebuilt the landing area and it's nice and firm now.
Today (Sunday), Scott and I reworked the home plate area. We borrowed Petey G's sod cutter and removed the lip that prevented water from running off. Scott has it pitched perfectly away from the plate and the batters boxes and catcher's areas are now level and firm.
