Royals and Blue Jays met yesterday at the B Diamond with Jon Atwell and Rich Garbarino on the mound.

Both pitchers were on their game and the first five innings flew by. Royals plated one in the top of the first on a single, two stolen bases and a sacrifice fly. That score held up until the top of the 3rd when the Royals loaded the bases and then cleared them on a double down the left field line. That was it until the top of the 6th when the Royals broke it open with 6 more to take a 10-0 lead and that ended up being the final score.

Atwell ended up allowing just 4 hits and one walk with 8 K's including striking out the side in the 6th en route to a complete game shut out.

With the victory the Royals move to 4-1 and face these same Jays next Saturday.
