Our pitcher (Rays) broke his arm mid pitch last night. The pop could be heard a long way from the mound. I've been playing ball my whole life and I've seen breaks before, but this one was different. Great job by everyone on the field taking care of him.

Big thanks to the Padres guys for there help with Mike. Mike broke his upper arm bone and will be in a sling for 6-8 weeks with possible surgery if the bone doesnt heal well! That was by far one of the worst things i have encountered on a baseball field!!! Mike is very grateful for the support from his teammates and from the Padres!!!
Mike Rocco is scheduled for surgery Friday at Albany Med. They are fixing his arm with a plate and some screws. Thanks again to the well wishers etc. Mike appreciates it very much!
