UNDEFEATED BRAVES TAKE ON THE NY BOMBERS

There was only one team in the 45 division that had a chance to be undefeated through the year. The braves brought their undefeated mark to Satellite on Sunday morning to take on one of the 45 division new teams , the NY BOMBERS. First off the fence is up! Right and center I would say are ok, LEFT needs to be moved back probably another 40 ft or more. Although there were no homeruns down the line there were about a 6 foul balls that would have been out if they were fair down the line. But anyways back to the game, Braves feeling optimistic at the start of the game the Bombers plate only 1 run after a caught stealing pick off from the pitcher that ended the early Bomber mojo. Darnell Baker on the hill for the bombers, looked sharp striking out 2 of the 3 batters faced in the bottom of the first inning. Bombers Mike "don't call me Jackson" Reuter started off the second inning with a BOMBER BOMB over the center field fence that would have been out of any ball park by 50 ft. Bombers tack on 2 more runs to end the 2nd. Baker gets a clean 2nd inning with 1 k and a double play that ended the Braves inning. 3rd inning Yanks get a lead off single from herrlett steals 2nd steals 3rd, a walk by Ryan Johnson and another clutch hit by Mike "I am not like Jordan" Reuter to get 2 rbi's. Bombers take a 6-0 lead. Baker still looking sharp induced 3 ground balls that would have SS Mark Marshall tie a baseball record with 3 put outs in an inning for 3 straight 6-3 outs. Bombers add some more runs in the 5 highlighted by a 2 rbi doulbe by Mark Marshall bringing the score to 11-0. Braves score 1 in the bottom 6 to break Baker's shut out bid. Final score Bombers 11 Braves 1.
Good luck to the braves they hit hard throughout the lineup but seemed right at the Bomber defense a foot to the left or right here or there they definitely would scored more runs! Great bunch of guys and I can see why they were undefeated up to this point.
