Blue Jays Unpack Bats, But Take Tough Loss

Well, this one's hard to write.

We faced the Chesapeake A's in game 2 of a doubleheader. We played from ahead the whole game. 2-1, then 5-2, then 7-4, then 10-4, then 11-7 as we entered the last of the 9th. The A's played station to station for a miracle 12-11 walk off victory.

Jim Tesorio threw 6 strong innings. Blue Jays RBIs came from up and down the lineup, but the big hit was Mike Surin's bases loaded triple.

It was a tough loss, especially to go to 0-2. But we're playing ball in 80 degree weather, so life's not too bad! Little time to dwell on today's outcomes. Game 3 at 10am Tuesday. We'll be glad to put Port St Lucie behind us for a new game and new day in Jupiter.

Keep pluggin' Curt and the gang.
I've been on teams that started 0-2 and we came back to go 3-2 and make the playoffs.

As Jimmy V. once said: Don't give up; don't ever give up!
