Indians Split Double Header - Record Even At 2-2

The Maine Indians beat the Minnesota Bulldogs 9-2 in the front-end of our double header yesterday. Jonny Martin pitched an absolute gem! He scattered 4 hits over nine innings, struck out 5, and walked only three for the complete game victory. It's was really fun to watch. He had total command of three pitches from the first inning on and completely stifled an agressive, very good hitting lineup. It was one of the most dominant pitching performances I've witnessed in a long time!

Teddy Martin pitched his heart out for us in Game 2 but we ended up losing a 12-11 slugfest to the Washington DC Express.

The Martin brothers are as gutsy as they come.

Game 5 tomorrow at 1:45 PM.

Mike Ferraro
