My friend's team the NY Mariners based in Highland, NY are playing in the NABA 18 & Over World Series a Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter. They are the only NY team to have won this World Series and they're going for #3.
Steve is one of the founders of the team, he's 39 and is one hell of a catcher and hitter.

Mariners went 2-0 today and posted two excellent victories. Heading into day three tied for the #1 seed with another game of pool play to go. Ended today with a soft 2-8 with 3rbi. Did however hit the game winning triple in the ninth inning off the fence to knock off Miami marlins. Day three right around the corner. Play on Mariners...
