Jerry Hawkins and Paul Watson have secured a course and date for a golf outing to raie money for the league. And you get a bang for your buck!

9 a.m. Saturday Oct. 12 at Thunderhart Golf Course , Greenville N.Y. It's 34 miles/41 minutes from Rensselaer.

It's a 4-man team scramble.

You can form your own team or we will form teams for you. Anyone can play; need not be CDMSBL member. Limited number of teams, so first come first served.

Price includes lunch and awards.

Prizes for winning team, longest drive, par-3 pin accuracy and others.

Putting contest at the turn.

Cost is $240 per 4-some or $60 per player.

This course is in a beautiful setting in Greene County with the Catskills as a back drop. No matter your skill level, come on out and enjoy the day with your friends in the league.

I know this is only 16 days away, but there was a lot of work put into organizing the logistics.

This is much needed for the league.
