Great game last night between the Yankees and Rays on a hot evening at the Bob. Lex and Jeff Friedman both pitched 9 innings of great baseball. The Rays led 6-3 going into top of 7th but the Yankees scored 3 times to tie the game 6-6. It would stay that way until the bottom of the 9th as Friedman wiggled out of a couple of jams and Lex did as well! In the bottom of the 9th with bases loaded, 2 outs and a 1-2 count Dabney stole home! Dabney stole home! Dabney stole home! Straight steal off of a page from Jackie Robinson! It was amazing to see and it was a great game all around! The Yankees are a tough team as usual! Hats off to them! Proud of the Rays as we won the game with 8 guys as well!
it must have seemed like 150 degrees! Hats off to Mario and the rays, they played with alot of heart and emotion, came down to 1 strike, Props to Mark for taking that chance and making it count, see saw battle back and forth, and seemed as if we couldnt take advantage of the fact that they played with 8, Rays defense made some key plays behind Jeff. GOod Luck the rest of the way should be a great playoffs
