The hype for last night's Dodgers - Cubs game was false advertisement!
The Cubs threw a clunker!!!
The Cubs managed only two unearned runs in the first inning in a 12 -2 loss to the Dodgers.
Jim Shook and Andy Sardella carved up the Cubs line-up and the Dodger bats provided more than enough support (along with some help from the Cubs defense).
The Dodgers win the season series 2-1.
Both teams have two losses, and this game might end up as a tie-breaker for the regular season title.
Hats off to the Dodgers.
I hope we meet up in the finals for a best 2 of 3 series.
