I was riding my bike through the area by Exit 23 / McCarty Ave and noticed two fields. American Legion & St Rose baseball field. Don't really know anything about cost or use.

The St. Ross field is beautiful but is prohibitively expensive for any decision even for all star games.
Jimmy K and others worked hard to get Legion field, but were given one price structure then another that wasn't feasible either. I can't speak for other commissioners but it was going to work out to $150 per game at the legion field for the 35's. I had scheduled four games there, then moved them. Initial meetings with the City of Albany were looking at $50 per game.
